Nassau County Leg. Judi Bosworth (D-Great Neck) attended the Housing for All the People Gala on Oct. 19, honoring Howard and Sylvia Kimmel and each individual that has ever joined Mr. Kimmel’s efforts as a board member, advisor or staff member of the Kimmel Housing Development Foundation.
The gala, which was held at Temple Emanuel in Great Neck, also celebrated the foundation’s new affiliation with Selfhelp Community Services, one of the New York City area’s largest providers of housing, home care and social services for seniors. The gala was a joyful celebration of the foundation’s work since its creation as the Anna and Phillip Kimmel Foundation in 1994. As an added bonus, Bosworth was able to celebrate Kimmel’s 88th birthday with him.
