In honor of the season of giving and to spark holiday spirit, John Lewis Childs School encouraged students to bring in store-bought, unwrapped toys for its annual Toy Mountain drive on Dec. 17.
Moderated by the Student Council and teacher Julia Lafferty, the event generated more than 20 bags of toys by the end of the day. The toys were picked up by representatives from the Hance Family Foundation, who will distribute the items to those in need.
