The Long Island Comic Con

Eternal Con, Long Island’s premier comic book and cosplay convention, will return for its fifth year, with a two-day extravaganza and a lineup of celebrity guests that includes Marvel Editor-in-Chief Jim Shooter, Brianna Hildebrand (“Deadpool” 1 & 2), legendary TV icon Lee Meriwether (“Batman” ’66, “Star Trek,” “Time Tunnel”), Billy Tucci (“Shi,” “Wonder Woman”), Frank Tieri (“Wolverine,” “Iron Man”), and Helen Slater (“Supergirl,” “Legend of Billie Jean,” “Smallville”), as well as more than 100 comic book professionals who are expected to be in attendance.

Since forming in Alberta, Canada in 1995, Nickelback has sold more than 50 million tracks, including their smash hit, “How You Remind Me,” making them the second best-selling foreign act in the U.S. in the 21st century — behind only The Beatles.  Now the band named Billboard’s “Top Rock Group of the Decade” will be joined by American rock band Daughtry — fronted by “American Idol” season five finalist Chris Daughtry — whose top five hits include “It’s Not Over” and “Home,” as well as Shaman’s Harvest with Smokin’ Hearts & Broken Guns.

Beach Comedy at Sunny Atlantic

Thursday, July 6, 7-10 p.m. 

Keep celebrating the holiday week at the beach with this comedy show that brings some of the funniest comedians from New York City featured on MTV, HBO, Showtime and Comedy Central to the beach.
