Pieces for Peace Free Workshop

Saturday, Jan. 28 at 1 p.m.
CITYarts’ Pieces for Peace invites middle school students around the world to envision “What does peace look like to you?” Children then create their answer to this important question.  Works will be displayed in the Boots Lamb Education Center through Feb. 20 and be a part of CITYarts’ online international exhibition.  For ages 10-13.

Top Kids LEGO movie

The LEGO® Batman Movie Event

Saturday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. and continues on
Feb. 25 and March 11

Come and see the LEGO® Batman Movie.  At each event, kids can collect two limited edition trading cards (while supplies last) featuring characters from the movie.  The cards collected at all three events will unveil a special scene.  Enjoy giveaways, make and play themed moments with LEGO® bricks and blocks, plus much more.

Top Kids Whaling museum

Lunar New Year

Learn the history of this holiday, play a good luck symbol match game, write “whale” in Chinese, and enjoy theme-related craft stations around the museum.  Admission + $5 craft fee.  Member/child $5.

Join engaging, hands-on activities to encourage recycling of everyday objects.  Activities will bring science to life and create awareness of the importance of conservation.  This program is made possible with the support of National Grid.  For ages 5 and up.  Free with museum admission.
