Three new exhibits opened Thursday and are on view through April 30 at the b.j. spoke Gallery in Huntington.

Two solo exhibits of artworks created by Bert Winsberg and Kate Kelly are on display, along with a member artists group show in the third gallery room.

“This and That,” is the title of Winsberg’s solo exhibit, and represents his interest in music, cities and landscape.

The paintings represent his exuberance in life even as forces are committed to destroy them from pollution, global warming and erosion.

“Certain things fight back and are to be celebrated,” Winsberg said. “I have endeavored to do so.”

Winsberg trained at the Chicago Art Institute with a scholarship status. His mentors were Frank Perry and Harold Minsk.

“IN ReTROspect” is a solo exhibition of works by Kate Kelly showing her journey with medium and technique throughout the years.
