Police are investigating a bank robbery that took place in Roslyn on Friday afternoon.
Robbery Squad detectives said a man wearing dark clothing, a black hat, glasses, a wig and fake beard entered the Citibank at 1075 Northern Boulevard and produced what was appeared to be a shotgun, announcing a robbery to the five employees in the bank at the time.
After attaining an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled the bank on foot, though his direction was unknown, police said.
