LOCAL LAW NO. 3 OF 2021†NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF THE INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF FLORAL PARK LOCAL LAW NO. 3 OF 2021 ENTITLED ìA LOCAL LAW RESCINDING THE ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW NO. 1 OF 2021 AND ADOPTED PURSUANT TO CANNABIS LAW ß131 OPTING OUT OF LICENSING †AND ESTABLISHING RETAIL †CANNABIS† DISPENSARIES†AND/OR†ON-SITE†CANNABIS CONSUMPTION ESTABLISHMENTS†WITHIN THE†INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF FLORAL PARK.îPLEASE TAKE †NOTICE that pursuant to Article 9 of the †New York State Constitution, the †provisions of †the †Code †of †the Incorporated Village†of Floral Park (“Village”) and †the †Municipal Home †Rule Law of the State of New York, †as amended, a public hearing was duly called and†held †on August 10, 2021 by the Village† Board†of†the Incorporated Village of †Floral†Park†on†the†proposed adoption of the Incorporated Village of Floral Park Local Law No. 3 of 2021 and following†the†close†of†the†hearing, the Village Board duly adopted the Incorporated Village of Floral Park Local Law No. 3 of 2021 entitled: “A Local Law rescinding the †adoption of Local Law No. 1 of 2021 and†adopted pursuant to Cannabis Law ß131 opting out†of licensing and establishing retail cannabis dispensaries and/or on-site cannabis consumption establishments within the Incorporated Village of Floral †Park.”†This Local Law is subject to a permissive referendum if a petition for same is filed within thirty (30) days of this Notice.† †After said thirty (30) day period, this Local Law shall become effective upon its filing with the Secretary of State.†DATED:†August 13, 2021†BY ORDER OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES†INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF FLORAL PARK, NY†SUSAN E.WALSH†VILLAGE CLERK†
