PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at a public hearing was held by and before the Board of Trustees of the Inc. Village of New Hyde Park, New York, on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at 7:30 PM prevailing time, at the Village Hall, 1420 Jericho Turnpike, New Hyde Park, New York, and the following local law was adopted:
PROPOSED LOCAL LAW AMENDING SECTION 195-13 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF NEW HYDE PARK, ENTITLED ‘RESIDENCE ZONE USES’, TO REGULATE MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES AND MARIJUANA RETAIL STORES (IN THE EVENT THAT THE NEW YORK STATE LEGISLATURE LEGALIZES THE RECREATIONAL USE OF MARIJUANA)
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that this local shall take effect immediately after its filing in the office of the Secretary of State and the publication of a public notice containing and abstract hereof, in accordance with the provisions of applicable state statue and local law.
