But while you can’t always control your circumstances, you can take steps to control how you react. Book Discussion: Get to Know Jules Verne Wednesday, May 26 at 7 p.m. Dive 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Journey to the Center of the Earth. Explore the history and literature of adventure writer Jules Verne!

Allergies: All You Need to Know Tuesday, May 27 at 7 p.m. Dr. Tyrone Coyle of Northwell Health will discuss:Identifying symptoms and potential treatments for seasonal and food allergies; Avoiding allergic triggers and easy at-home treatments to relieve your symptoms and Seeking care at an allergy office – why, when, and what to expect.

Time for Kids: Let’s Go Fly a Kite! Friday, May 21 at 1:30 p.m. Ages: Birth- 5 years (with parent/caregiver). Come join A Time for Kids, Inc. as we celebrate spring in this family fun preschool program. Activities include music, movement, fine & gross motor development and storytelling. There will even be a kite craft! Suggested materials: 1 piece of construction paper; Piece of yarn or string; Scissors and Tape.

Baking with Chef Rob! Friday, May 21 at 4:30 p.m. All Ages- Family Fun!

Virtual Paint Night Friday, May 21 at 7 p.m. Grades 5 – 12. Join artist Alma as she guides you through an instructional step-by-step painting. No experience necessary. Beginngers welcome!

Yummy in my Tummy…Kahoot Trivia Game Night! Monday, May 24 at 7 p.m. Join Mr. B. & Miss Jessi with some scrumptious trivia all about food, yummy & delicious! Two devices are needed – one for Zoom and one to play trivia! **All participants will be entered in a Raffle to receive a surprise.
