Herricks Community Fund to stage carnival fundraiser

Paul Ehbar

The Herricks Community Fund will once again sponsor our Annual  Carnival.  Proceeds from the carnival contribute to fund raising initiatives which support programs in the Herricks School District.

The carnival allows the HCF to maintain and operate both Youth Council programs, Coya at the High School and Friday Night Recreation at the middle school.  HCF supports the Herricks Alzheimer Program as well as the Herricks Community Players and the Teacher Mini Grants.

Last year the HCF established two $1m000 Scholarships for graduating seniors. The 2012 awards went to Herricks graduating seniors, Paige Barnaby and John McGuire, who demonstrated community service coupled with an anti-bulling awareness.  This year the HCF is proud to announce that we will increase our Scholarship initiative with two additional $1000.00 awards to be given to graduating seniors who have demonstrated a committed involvement   in the performing arts, coupled with anti-bulling awareness.

Join us for a fun packed event and help support the many projects of the HCF.

Discounted Advance ticket sales have started at the Herricks Community Center and will continue until 5PM on May 30th the first night of the carnival.
