HILLSIDE PUBLIC LIBRARY

You may register for programs at hillsidelibrary.info/events. Our programs require online registration. Instructions are on the library’s website. You need to have your library barcode number for registration. The library subscribes to several museum passes for the enjoyment and entertainment of our patrons, holders of Hillside Library cards in good standing. A household is able to reserve just one museum pass per month; patrons are responsible for checking the museum’s hours of operation for the borrowed pass.

The Hillside Public Library is proud to present a broad variety of world language books through the World Language Collection. Book titles are offered in a range of languages and the collection is updated during the year. Please contact the Reference Desk at (516) 355-7850 (extension 301) for further information.

The library collects used cell phones (with their chargers) for charity. Also, the library collects reading glasses. In addition, the library collects canned food (we request cans only) for Island Harvest; the donations you supply help provide for those less fortunate, and we thank you.
