BOOK DISCUSSIONS

Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1 and 7 p.m. The Accomplished Guest, short stories by Ann Beattie. A collection of stories set along America’s East Coast & featuring themes related to guests & visitors.

Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. Armchair Historian Book Discussion. BAG OF BONES By J. North Conway. In 1878, the body of multi-millionaire A. T. Stewart was stolen from St. Mark’s Churchyard. The ghoulish crime, the chase for the culprits, the years-long ransom negotiations, and the demise of the Stewart retail empire fed a media frenzy.

CONCERTS

Friday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. An Evening Concert With Acclaimed singer-songwriter Sheri Miller who performs her soulful, uplifting bluesy pop love songs and sings a wide range of popular classic favorites. Sheri has released two records, “Mantra” and “Winning Hand,” as well as her original song “I Could Love You Still” (feat. Will Lee, Paul Shaffer, Steve Cropper), and other singles.

Sunday, Oct. 20 at 1:30 p.m. The New York Exceptions. Dave Scotti and his doo-wop band captivate as they play your favorite oldies from the 50s, 60s, and 70s.
