Late Night (2019), starring Emma Thompson, Mindy Kaling, and John Lithgow, is playing at Great Neck House, Friday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9 at 5 & 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m. A legendary late-night talk show host’s world is turned upside down when she hires her only female staff writer.

Rated R; runs 1 hour 42 minutes. Admission to Great Neck House requires a park pass.

Sunday @ 3: Toby Tobias Duo Sunday, Nov. 10 at 3 p.m.

Against the backdrop of Apartheid-era South Africa, ‘Journey from Johannesburg’ provides an up-close, personal introspective view of racism and segregation seen through the eyes of a privileged white South African-born Jew. Toby Tobias has found a way to weave his original songs into a short-scene theatrical monologue and slide show that has been described as “…a perfect, thought-provoking, cultural and musical experience.”
