During the month of June, the Benevolence Fund of the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce awarded scholarships to deserving graduating students from local high schools. Presenting and receiving from left to right are:
1. Herricks High School: Peter Caputo presenting to Gurvir Singh who will be attending Cornell University
2. Great Neck South High School: Unmasking (lol) Richard DeMartino presenting to Gabriell Niceforo who will be attending LIU-Post, Cheryl Fajardo also presenting, and Principal Dr. Christopher Gitz.
3. Sewanhaka High School: Richard DeMartino presenting to Kaitlyn Roman, who will be majoring in Nursing at Molloy College. Also in attendance was Caitlin O’Toole, guidance counselor.
