NOTICE TO BIDDERS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Board of Commissioners of the Great Neck Park District will receive sealed bids for
NEW LED LIGHTING SYSTEM, PARKWOOD INDOOR TENNIS CENTER
Bids must be delivered to the Board of Commissioners, Great Neck Park District, 5 Beach Road, Great Neck, NY 11023 by 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Bid Documents, including Specifications for Lighting Fixtures and Equipment and work, Form of Contract and Form of Proposal, may be examined and obtained by calling the Great Neck Park District at (516) 487-7665 at the aforementioned days and hours. A set of bid documents may be obtained for a $50.00 deposit per set.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount equal to five (5%) percent of the bid amount made payable to the Board of Commissioners of the Great Neck Park District as assurance that the bid is made in good faith, and by a statement of non-collusion as required by section 103-d of the General Municipal Law.
The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the NYS Labor Law, including, without limitation, payment of prevailing wages.
The successful bidder must enter into a contract for the performance of the work that may be awarded to it at the bid price accepted. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish adequate security for the full and faithful performance of such contract as specified, and liability and property insurance.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any portion of any bid. Any contract award shall be made in the best interests of the Park District.
