Great Neck Library announces expanded nights, services

Great Neck Library will have expanded nights and services beginning Monday, April 19.

With consideration that there could be a possible virus surge after the Easter and Passover holidays, the Library will expand nights and services as follows effective Monday, April 19:

Main Library: Monday through Thursday, last appointment 8:00 p.m.
Lakeville Branch: Wednesday and Thursday, last appointment 8:00 p.m.
Parkville Branch: Monday through Thursday, last appointment 8:00 p.m.
Station Branch: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, last appointment 8:00 p.m.
(unless and until Station closes for renovation)

Browsing by appointment also will become available beginning April 19, with the last browsing appointment at 8:00 p.m. Browsing appointments at the Main Library will be for 30 minutes. Browsing appointments at the Branches will be for 15 minutes.

Beginning Thursday, April 1, quarantining of materials will be reduced by one day (presently materials are quarantined for 5 days), as agreed upon by the Directors of Nassau County Public Libraries.

Please continue to wear your masks (covering nose and mouth) in all Library buildings.

The Great Neck Library continues to monitor County and Great Neck data for COVID-19 positivity and vaccine rates as the Library moves toward normalcy.
