The Village of Great Neck Plaza is hosting the summer’s second Promenade Night on Bond Street on Thursday, Aug. 15.

During the evening, residents will experience outdoor café dining at Ethos, ERA Asian Cuisine, La Rotonda, Elaine’s Bistro & Grill, Bee-Organic and the Great Neck Diner.

In addition to the variety of dining options offered, the Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District will host part two of its second annual Karaoke Competition.

Last year’s Great Neck Plaza AutoFest and Street Festival’s karaoke competition winners Jenna Pasqua, Maggie Doherty and Eileen Braham will once again be participating in the festivities and serve as judges.

“Promenade Night offers residents and visitors to our village a one of a kind experience,” said Jay Corn, Great Neck Plaza BID vice president and events committee chairperson. “We encourage family and friends to come down and enjoy all the festivities offered.”

The atmosphere around Great Neck Plaza is the perfect setting to enjoy the best dining and shopping in the summer. Participating restaurants are within walking distance of the LIRR’s Great Neck train station. The Plaza also features over 1,600 convenient parking spaces on-street, in municipal parking fields and garages.

The BID’s mission is to foster and promote a positive and vital business community through various initiatives including consumer awareness programs, media/advertising campaigns and sponsorship of many events. This edition of Promenade Night will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will continue until 10:30 p.m.
