An open letter to Ms. Barbara Berkowitz, president Board of Education, Great Neck Public Schools
Dear President Berkowitz:
Our civic association commends the fine work that the school board does on behalf of all the children enrolled and thanks them.
The latest policy concerning teacher tutoring is another example.
We write this letter to commend the Great Neck Board of Education in their decision to ban private tutoring between teachers and students within their buildings. This policy decision was certainly a difficult one and we are sure the school board did much research prior to its unanimous approval.
As always, our Great Neck Board of Education is to be admired for making the tough choices.
