Walking down five flights of stairs is nothing to most people, but for me, having had a stroke five years ago which left me with no balance whatsoever, it’s an impossibility.
So when I was on the fifth floor of a Cuttermill Road office buidling and all of the power suddently failed, I wasn’t exactly filled with joy.
However, with the help of the director of the Signature Bank and the very response from the Vigilant Fire Department, I was carried down safely by two very capable and charming firemen.
I am so happy to live in such a wonderful community. I deeply thank these gentlemen who came to my rescue.
