Everyone knows Freddy Sadiku at Toscanini Restaurant on Main Street. In addition to being a gracious host, great chef, and generous supporter of the Port community, he is a dedicated and giving person who helps children from foreign countries when they come for heart surgery at St. Francis Hospital. Sadiku speaks several languages and is a comfort to the young patients and their families.
In a terrible twist of fate this past October, his 34-year-old son Florent died suddenly of an undetected heart problem, leaving behind a wife and 2-year-old son. In June, friends held a golf outing and fundraiser, to show love and support to the family.
