Floral Park Memorial High School’s Leos Club held a pajama drive during the month of December, collecting 53 pairs of brand-new boys’ and girls’ pajamas of various sizes donated by club members, faculty and the student body. The pajamas will be given to the children residing at Anna House.
The Anna House provides a safe, supportive, and academically inspiring environment for the children of parents working in the thoroughbred racing backstretch area located at New York’s historic Belmont Park, Aqueduct Racetrack, and Saratoga Race Course.
The Leos Club is advised by teacher Kurt Brechtlein and is affiliated with the Floral Park Lions Club.
