Floral Park Memorial High School senior Jacob Sinanan has been recognized as a finalist in the 66th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.
Every year, more than 1.5 million high school students across the nation enter this academic competition by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Approximately 15,000 students advanced to finalist standing.
Beginning in March and continuing to mid-June, around 7,600 finalists will be notified that they have been selected to receive a Merit Scholarship award.
