On Oct. 21, the Training Station and CancerCare will team up to raise money for cancer patients and their families. A Training Station membership is not required to participate in the Spin or Zumba class or both. Non-member entry fee/donation is $20 with a suggested donation of $20 for Training Station members who participate. All donors will receive a pink Training Station event t-shirt and a bottle of water.
“Training Station Athletic Clubs is honored to be hosting such an amazing event for a cause that affects all of us,” Training Station owner Susan Karika said. “Breast cancer doesn’t discriminate whether female or male. Without the help of the community participating and for the awesome instructors who are donating their time, this wouldn’t be possible!”
The 90-minute Spin and Zumba classes begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., respectively. The Training Station is located at 45 Channel Dr. in Port Washington. There is no need to reserve a space for the event. Contact Training Station for details at 767-1121.
