Enroll now to become a Girl Scout on LI

The Island Now

Girl Scouts of Nassau County has officially opened its enrollment for 2018-2019, marking the council’s 100th year of offering a safe, no-limits place designed specifically for girls.

To commemorate this milestone year, the Girl Scouts of Nassau County will be holding several celebratory events and activities to further inspire girls to seek out new challenges, build important skills and take the lead.

“A lifetime of leadership, success, and adventure starts here — we cannot wait for new and returning Girl Scouts to join us and reach their full potential,” said Randell M Bynum, CEO of Girl Scouts of Nassau County. “We have so many exciting activities planned for this year. We are settled into our new headquarters, and we are ready for a year full of fun, learning, discovery and empowerment.”

Along with the Centennial Celebration, GSNC will also be hosting trips for rock climbing and hiking, 3D movie making, coding for all ages and more programs to educate girls in science, nature, and technology.

A Girl Scout has a unique network of more than five million girls and women to cheer her on every step of the way.
