The ELL students from East Hills, Harbor Hill and Heights schools got together for their annual Pen Pal Party in the East Hills cafeteria on May 28. The children have been writing letters to each other since January during their ELL lessons with Anne Marie Condron-Buonomo and Katerina Voutsinas from East Hills, Joseph Aucone from Harbor Hill/East Hills and Johanna Altamirano and Jennifer Marshall from Heights. They enjoyed getting to know their pen pals over a bagel breakfast.
