Village of East Hills Park Director William Gavin has left his position, Mayor Michael Koblenz said.
“People leave,” Koblenz said. “They’re positions. They go on.”
This is a slow season for the park, Koblenz said, especially since the pool is closed.
“Our busiest season is four months away,” he said.
Efforts to reach Gavin were unavailing.
Gavin had held the position for more than 10 years, according to his LinkedIn profile.
The village has not yet found a replacement but will begin the interviewing process soon, Koblenz said.
