Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano (2nd right) honored Alexander Comerford of Manhasset for earning the rank of Eagle Scout. Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America. The title of Eagle Scout is held for life, thus giving rise to the phrase “Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.” Also on hand to celebrate are Jay Garee (Scout Executive, Massapequa), Sal Ciampo (Council President, Bethpage) and Eric Anderson (Council Commissioner, Melville).
