State Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso recently celebrated Halloween at the Sands Point Preserve‘s annual ball held in their Hempstead House renamed “Castle Dracula” for the evening. He presented New York State citations to the evening’s honorees Adam and Flora Hanft and Amanda Khalil.

The event was organized by the Sands Point Conservancy to benefit the Preserve. Nassau County owns the 216-acre park which includes historic mansions and the Phil Dejana Learning Center. The facilities are maintained and operated by the Sands Point Preserve Conservancy and located on the Guggenheim Estate.
