Lou Brockman and Lynne Gambone, silver screen style ballroom dancers entertained the members of “Our Space” with their dancing skills.

The duo provided members with an opportunity to reminisce of days gone by, the big band era and dancing cheek to cheek. The Herricks Alzheimer’s Day Program “Our Space” is a social model of Adult Day Care for Nassau County residents over the age of 60 with a diagnosis of early to moderate onset of dementia living at home. The program meets Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Herricks Community Center, 999 Herricks Road, New Hyde Park.

Monetary donations can be made out to HCF, ALZ. Day Program. All contributions help support activities like this and others at the program and would be greatly appreciated.
