The finals for the 2013 “Reach For The Stars” Teen Talent Contest took place at Eisenhower Park’s Lakeside Theatre on Monday, July 15.
Twenty-one Nassau County teenagers were chosen as finalists from an audition pool of 63 contestants. A panel of judges, including professionals in the music and entertainment industry, had the daunting task of choosing the winners from a talented group of young vocalists.
The winners are as follows:
First Place: Kristen Murphy of North Bellmore, who sang “Popular.”
Second Place: Christina Cinnamo from Franklin Square, who sang “The Lady is a Tramp.”
Third Place: Alexa Ford from Lynbrook, who sang “No Reason at All.”
