Temple Beth-El invites the community to work together to clean and maintain beautiful Whitney Pond Park in Manhasset on Sunday, Sept. 19 at 1 p.m.
Volunteers will clear brush, open hiking paths and trails and clean up wherever the park needs tidying. Whitney Pond Park is a beautiful location in Nassau County and the streams that run through it stem from miles away and feed the waterways along the North Shore.
This event is open to all ages. Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes (boots, if possible), and bring work/gardening gloves as well as a mask to wear when in close proximity to others.
