Chris Mullin to sell Flower Hill home

The Island Now

Chris Mullin,  head coach of the St. John’s men basketball team and former NBA player, has put his Manhasset home on the market, said Catherine Matteo, the broker for the property.

Located in Flower Hill, the six-bedroom home is listed at $3.85 million.

“It has a tremendous amount of space,” Matteo said. “There is anything from a gym to a study to a den to a family room.”

Its 15 rooms also include an office, laundry, dining room and dine-in kitchen.

Plus “one of the home’s most distinctive features is a conservatory, which includes a chandelier and space for another dining area under its many windows,” wrote Luke Stangel at realtor.com.

Built in 1938, the home sits on a one-acre, tree-lined lot at 370 Manhasset Woods Road.

“It’s a tudor-style home that has been updated for today’s type of living,” said Matteo, who works with Daniel Gale Real Estate.

Mullin, 53, played shooting guard and small forward over 15 seasons with the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers.

After retiring in 2001, he worked in front office positions with both the Warriors and the Sacramento Kings.

In March 2015, he was named  head coach at St. John’s University, where he once played.

In his first season the team was 8-24 overall and just 1-17 in conference play, finishing last in the Big East.

The home is an approximately 20-minute drive from the school’s Queens campus.

Efforts to reach Mullin were unavailing.
