The Rite Aid pharmacy at the intersection of Hillside Avenue and Herricks Road sustained damage to the front of the store on Tuesday when a car crashed into a Halloween display.

The car, a white sedan, sustained front-end damage when it was bumped from behind as a result of a separate vehicle crash in the parking lot, jumped the curb and plowed through the store’s glass panels, Nassau County police said.

The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and no customers or employees were hurt as a result of the crash, police said.

The hole in the front of the store has since been covered with wood and the area inside the store bordered off with large rows of paper towels.

Efforts to reach Rite Aid officials were unavailing.
