A University Gardens neighborhood suffered a series of car break-ins Friday night and Saturday morning, according to Nassau County police.

Nine cars parked on West Mill Drive and Terrace Circle had their front windows broken and three had property taken from them in what police are calling acts of criminal mischief and larceny.

The stolen items include loose change, an EZ Pass toll payment device, assorted papers and a registration card, according to an NCPD spokesperson.

Police have not identified any suspects or persons of interest in the case.

The neighborhood, largely consisting of co-op apartment buildings, lies adjacent to Long Island Rail Road tracks and is near the LIRR’s Little Neck station.

Police are requesting that anyone with information on the break-ins call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tipline at 1-800-244-TIPS.
