On Sunday, May 6, CancerCare of Port Washington will hold its annual fundraising Mother’s Day Brunch event at LaMotta’s Waterside Restaurant. It is not necessary to be a member of CancerCare to attend this gathering. The donation of $40 per person includes a buffet brunch and choice of one brunch cocktail. There will also be raffles and door prizes.
The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. LaMotta’s is located at 10 Matinecock Ave. To reserve a seat, mail a check for $40 per guest, payable to CancerCare (include “Brunch” on the memo line), to Barbara Faticone, 2 Nesaquake Ave., Port Washington.
