Buckley celebrates annual fall fair

The Buckley Country Day School recently held its 43rd Annual Fall Fair in late October.

Despite cold and rainy weather on day one, many faithful turned out to enjoy the festivities, according to Brett Topel, director of communications at the school.

“Day two turned out to be a spectacular day, as the sun came out and the fair hit its stride,” Topel said.

Fairgoers enjoyed rides, games, a petting zoo, and food at the fair.

“Thank you to all the parents who cooked, baked, and brought food — we had Greek, Italian, Asian, Caribbean, and Polish gourmet food, and grilled-to-perfection burgers and hot dogs, along with a food truck that featured deep-fried Oreos and funnel cakes,” Topel said.  “We also had our bake booth and ice cream truck — thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their time throughout the Fall Fair.”
