Breuer sets record-number shows at The Paramount

The Island Now

On Saturday, Nov.17 at 8 p.m., stand-up comedian, actor, musician, and radio host Jim Breuer will perform for the 20th time on The Paramount’s stage.

That statistic gives Breuer the all-time record for the most sold-out shows performed by any artist at the venue since opening in 2011.

As “The Jim Breuer Residency: Comedy, Stories and More” rolls on, with four more shows on-sale now through February 2019, Breuer has sold over 18,000 tickets at the venue to date.

During “The Residency,” which launched in February 2018, Breuer has amazed his fans with hilarious stories from his “Saturday Night Live” and “Half Baked” days, rants about the New York Mets, with a special show for the No. 7 subway line Army Fan Club in August, and ongoing live performances as he tours the country with Metallica and performs with Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden.

“I knew after my first show at the Paramount, this place would be my home,” said Breuer. “I can’t wait to get back to Long Island, my family and my home, for my 20th show!”
