LEGAL NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Roslyn Estates will hold its monthly meeting for April at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. This meeting will be held remotely, via video-conference only, with no ‘in person’ location, as authorized pursuant to NYS Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 202.1.
PLEASE BE FURTHER ADVISED that at the same time and date, and also solely by remote video conference, the Board will hold the following PUBLIC HEARINGS:
Public Hearing No. 1:
To consider Bill 1 of 2020, a local law authorizing the Village of Roslyn Estates to authorize a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in New York State General Municipal Law ß 3-c, for its fiscal year commencing June 1, 2020.
Public Hearing No. 2:
To consider adoption of the Village’s Tentative Budget for the Village fiscal year June 1, 2020, through May 31, 2021. The tentative budget will be available for inspection by April 13th on the Village website, and at the Village office, 25 The Tulips, Roslyn, New York, during abbreviated business hours, Monday to Friday 9:00-12:00, established in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The tentative budget provides for no compensation for the Mayor or Trustees.
All persons desiring to provide input with respect to either public hearing may submit same by email to villageclerk@villageofroslynestates.com.

The meeting and hearings will be recorded and later transcribed. All persons remotely accessing either Public Hearing will be given an opportunity to be heard.
