VILLAGE OF KINGS POINT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting will be held by the Board of Appeals of the Village of Kings Point at the Village Hall, 32 Steppingstone Lane, Kings Point, New York 11024, on 12th May 2021, at 7:00 p.m. The Board will immediately adjourn for advice of counsel and, at 7:30 p.m., the Board will commence a public hearing for the consideration of the following application and such other matters as may come before the Board:
CASE NO. PRBZA20210160 – Application of Robert & Lisa Kalimi, as owners, with regard to the premises at 10 Cove Lane, Kings Point, New York, for variances from the following sections of the Code of the Village of Kings Point for a proposed new single-family dwelling:
1. ß161-3: to permit a shoreline setback of 146.0 feet, instead of the minimum required 192.0 feet.
2. ß161-23(C)(1)(b): to permit a shoreline yard projections of 142.5 feet instead of the maximum allowable 187.0 feet.
3. ß161-30.4(B)(1)(b): to permit the side yard sky plane limitations to be exceeded by 10.5 feet on the South side and exceeded by 17.0 feet on the North side.
The premises are shown on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map as Section 1, Block 132, Lots 416 & 417, and located in a A2 zoning district of the Village of Kings Point.
The application and accompanying exhibits are on file in the office of the Village Clerk and may be inspected during normal business hours.
At said hearing, all parties in interest will be given an opportunity to be heard.
In the event that anyone needs a special accommodation for a disability, such person is requested to contact the Village Clerk at least five days before the hearing.
All persons entering the Village Hall are required to wear facemasks covering their nose and mouth at all times and maintaining a 6-foot social distance.
