Arts Alive LI showcases talent

Fourth Grader Orobo Ogbovoch, the first place winner of the Arts Alive LI poster design contest, recently helped kick off the start of the second annual Arts Alive LI festival, showcasing Long Island’s art, entertainment and cultural attractions. The The F.R.E.E. Players Drumline alos helped start the event.

Arts Alive LI, presented by the Long Island Arts Alliance and Bethpage Federal Credit Union, runs now through the end of October at venues all across Long Island. Long Islanders and visitors are invited to attend and participate in over 35 different events including wine tastings, cabaret performances, comedic acts, art exhibits and workshops, poetry readings, dance collaborations, acoustic nights and so much more.
