Mineola High School senior Deborah DosSantos has earned the designation as a New York State School Music Association All-State Musician for 2020. It’s the second consecutive year she has received the honor.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the All-State selection process was different this year, yet still highly competitive. Students were chosen based on their scores from their spring 2019 NYSSMA assessment, along with teacher recommendations.
DosSantos will perform with the All-State Treble Chorus in a virtual concert in December.
