Chorus members from Elmont Memorial, Floral Park Memorial, H. Frank Carey, New Hyde Park Memorial and Sewanhaka high schools serenaded Board trustees and community members with a festive holiday song selection at the Dec. 18 Board of Education meeting.

The evening kicked off with district student Taylor Robinson singing a beautiful rendition of “O Holy Night.” It continued with talented musicians from Elmont Memorial, Floral Park Memorial, H. Frank Carey, New Hyde Park Memorial and Sewanhaka, led by school choral directors, singing “Carol of the Bells,” “Deck the Halls,” “Joy to the World” and “Jingle Bell Rock.”

After the musical performances concluded, the Board recognized students who were selected as New York State School Music Association All-State musicians.
