There was an anti-Mayor Blasio protest on Saturday Aug. 22, at City Hall Park protesting the mayor’s failed policies. The reason for this protest is his policies concerning school openings, homelessness, crime, bail reform and small business and street looters. The protesters are calling for the mayor to fix things or to step down.
Remember this, it is my understanding Gov. Cuomo can step in and remove the mayor due to all the shootings and deaths.
As a senior citizen of over 70 years old, I worry about the safety for myself and my fellow senior citizens. We find the City of New York to be a most dangerous place to live and many of us can’t afford to move. We need more police protection from the criminal element.
Also, we need more police officers patrolling the streets and our courts also need to do their jobs and to jail repeat offenders.
State Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis [ R-Brooklyn, Staten Island ] who was there said,” It breaks my heart to see what the mayor is doing on every front.” Now Mayor Bill de Blasio listen up,” We’re not going to take it anymore.”
