69th Annual Saint Patrick’s Parade is coming to Mineola

Irish American Society Parade Chairman Jeff Clark announced that “The Annual St. Patrick’s Parade in Mineola will be held on Sunday March 3rd stepping off at 1:00 p.m.”

Clark continued, “It will begin at the County Court House on Old Country Rd. Marchers will proceed to Mineola Boulevard where the parade will turn north into Mineola. Marchers will continue to Jericho Turnpike and will turn right on to the Turnpike. The reviewing stand will be just west of the fire house and the parade will end just one block south of the Center at Jericho Turnpike and Willis Ave. Following the parade will be an Irish celebration at the Center on Willis Ave Mineola – all are invited. We are very excited to host the parade and look forward to a great day.”

The parade will be led by Grand Marshal Rita Lydon-Lenz. She will be accompanied by her Aides – Carol and Mike Flannery, Patricia Navarra, Mary O’Connor and Dessie McWeeney

Rita said she is honored to be chosen as Grand Marshal and “I’m looking forward to a wonderful day. There will be many marchers and bands to join in the celebration.”
